As for the weather, you can google that information, but as in weather anywhere, you will just get averages.

Good Luck

A lot of hotels do have a pool open all year round. You%26#39;d have to be the very keenest of swimmers to even think about getting in a pool during the winter, unless there%26#39;s a freak warm spell.

Many hotels do keep one pool open during the winter months. Whether you would want to take a dip in that pool is something else. I think January is the coldest month- average highs-50s but there were times that the highs have only been in the 30s and at night it has dipped into the teens. So- it can get very cold- and it sometimes snows.

Sure they are open, these guys are walking over to the pool now.

The Rio has at least one heated pool open year round. I have been there in late November and the water was fine, you just have to be lucky enough to catch a day that is at least 65 and sunny.

wow is it really that cold? i am going in december, i guess i should be packing warmer clothes?

It%26#39;s not cold compared to Toronto, but it is cold compared to Miami. Las Vegas is not in the tropics, it%26#39;s in the desert, and deserts do get cold. In December, you will find it pleasant during the day and a little chilly at night - a light jacket or sweater would be good for walking around outside at night. You might even want to bring gloves just in case.

That may be too cold to swim, but the hot tub would be nice....

Bellagio pools were open when I went in January. We even saw someone swimming albeit a child but it was warm that day. We are from New England and in January anything over 30 is warm to us.

mjm 9 98 - we went over Christmas week a few years ago and it snowed and the others years was 50-60 degrees and windy, so yes it is cold, depending on where you are coming from. 50-60 for us in Dec. was okay as we are from Minnesota and if it gets that warm here in Dec. or Jan. we are out in t-shirts and shorts.
