slot memories

When you play certain slot machines - does it ever trigger a memory of the first time you played that particular game, or the casino you played it?

For me - The nickle reel %26#39;em in with my Dad in Reno about 15 years ago...we played for hours! and I still love that game, even though it%26#39;s getting harder to find them.

Texas Tea - Tahoe, Lakeside Inn on my honeymoon

What are yours?

Cleopatra. It reminds me of a trip my mom and I took to Reno a few months after my dad passed away. I won a big $50 on one spin of the bonus round by getting 5 cartouches. I always hope for those cartouches to pop up again.

Mrs. G

For me it was a 777 machine at Harrah%26#39;s (of course) in 1994 the last trip I took with my mom before she passed away. We both put in 20 on a dollar machine. Well didn%26#39;t we hit for 1199 and the thing just kept spitting out those dollars. It was so much fun seeing my mom trying to catch them all coming out. I will remember that forever.

WIld Cherry machine at the Four Queens. It was my Honeymoon and we had taken a trip from the strip to downtown for dinner at Hugo%26#39;s. Played one coin in a two coin .25 machine I hit $250 with three wild cherries. Had I played two quarters I would have won the progressive jackpot.......I %26#39;ve always play max coins on progressive machines from that day forward.

We played the Wheel of Fortune Red, White %26amp; Blue version right off the airplane in the airport, Southwest around C7 gate - .25, max bet and won $75 - totally shocked us.

ONLY big win the whole stay in Vegas though %26lt;g%26gt;.

Every time I see a big Wheel of Fortune slot I remember my Mom hitting the big spin and seeing her big grin last April. She%26#39;s 79 years old and she just kept hitting on it at Fitzgerald%26#39;s. She%26#39;s not coming on my trip in two weeks, so I%26#39;ll think of her often while I%26#39;m there. I also think of my $1100.00 hit when I see the Power Ball slots, but my Mom%26#39;s wins will always be on the top of my list.

The 1st time I played Jackpot Party (the original verson.. not super Jackpot party), I was at La Bayou, my best friend was playing next to me and I kept hitting the bonus, she and I were switching back and forth picking the presents, so picked almost the whole screen before we hit the party pooper! We were good and drunk (it was her bday to boot), we were in our own world there(with the exception of a CW here and there)!
