Pics of Newly Renovated ';Bellagio Suite';

(LINK AT END FOR PICTURES)

Just returned from stay at Bellagio. Arrived around 11:30am but they didn%26#39;t have a room ready for us until 3:15pm.

I think since they are renovating their Bellagio Suites in the main building and maybe other rooms as well, that they were running low on suites or maybe they were just slow in getting them ready.

In any case, we got a room close to the elevator - which I asked for - and got one of the newly renovated Bellagio Suites.

I am pretty sure we were the first to stay in this room. I felt like writing my name somewhere to commemorate it %26lt;g%26gt;.

It was a really nice room - the steam shower was great and the jacuzzi tub was nice as well....great for aching feet.

They sure changed the decor from the flowered pinks of the past to the more masculine look.

We loved the electronic opening/closing drapes - which blocked the sun out beautifully and made the room very dark in the am. The water was instantly hot. Loved the central AC. Liked having a doorbell! Used all 3 bathrooms - ha. Got a USA Today paper outside of door each morning. Felt like the toilets were going to FLUSH ME they had such suction %26lt;G%26gt;.

Had to call the desk about not having a separate frig - besides the one with the expensive stuff in it - they brought one up within minutes and plugged it in for us.

Housekeeping was just great. I%26#39;ll bet I brought home a hundred of those little bottles of amenities - we%26#39;ll be able to use those for traveling for a long time to come. They filled up the supply in the morning and then again during turn down service - along with leaving the nice box of chocolates...which I saw for sale (3 boxes) for $12 in a gift shop - yikes.

I have uploaded pictures of the renovated room with lots shots from different angles.

Hope the link works - it is for Webshots:

Pics of Newly Renovated ';Bellagio Suite';

Many thanks for the pics.

I certainly quite like the look of the lift area and hallway - looks elegant. But the bedroom area looks a bit ordinary. Does it have wallpaper or just cream coloured paint? It looks more like a household bedroom to be than a room for a top 5 star hotel.

How big is the suite in terms of sq ft?

very nice pictures

how much to score one of those rooms???

Very nice. The bath products are the same as I had in my room. I also loved the electronic controls for the draperies/sheers! As far as your room not being ready when you arrived at the hotel, not so bad since check in time isn%26#39;t until 3 in the afternoon. Glad you enjoyed your suite!

Nice, 3 bathrooms. How many people in your group?

The room looks very classy with very expensive furnishings.

The brown and beige theme is a little depressing or like you said masculine. But, I think the decor in many hotels is going toward modern. I need color.

Thanks for pics and sharing

Thanks very much for the pics. Some have been asking about these recently, so these should help.

But I noticed pic #28. People on floors 14-28 have to use the stairs? LOL

3 bathrooms? Okay...now you%26#39;re just spoiled! =)

Thanks for sharing I%26#39;m so happy that they got rid of the flowers. For those who asked they are 1020 square feet and usually go for about $425 a night (weekdays, sometimes a lot hight and occasionally for $299 if a really great promotion is out.)My one problem with the suite is that 3 bathrooms seems unnecessary, I wish they just had the powderroom and one huge bathroom off the bedroom instead of 2 small ones, oh well I guess I%26#39;m too picky.

There was only the two of us for 3 bathrooms, ha. BUT, I liked the toilet in the entryway bathroom because the toilet paper in the ';her'; bathroom was on the vanity sort of where you had to reach way behind to get at it...didn%26#39;t like that so I always visited the little bathroom %26lt;g%26gt;.

I like color, too and certainly wouldn%26#39;t have these colors in my home. But I think they are appropriate for a hotel because the colors ended up by being soothing and then there are no colors to really offend people. So...I can see why they decorated this way.

I took pictures of every possible angle, so if you don%26#39;t see wallpaper, there wasn%26#39;t any. What they did do was have areas, mostly behind the artwork, that were quilted - well, batting was put behind these areas...nice effect and I think it probably helped to keep out any noise because we didn%26#39;t hear anything from another room.

We were lucky (thanks to those on this forum!) to be able to get the summer special $299 for this suite - we went Sept 9th. We would have never paid full price and since it was our anniversary vacation, we felt lucky to get a suite like this. It is the first suite I have ever stayed in.

The only bad part of going at this time was that they were changing the conservatory so we didn%26#39;t get to see it! It was going to be finished 2 days after we left. Bummer. They were changing it into their FALL theme. Oh, well.
