I can%26#39;t find this on Alamos site and I have called numerous times and can%26#39;t get anyone that speaks clear English. We didnt purchase the additional Roadside Plus Assistance for the car - so what happens if we get a flat tire? We change it? We%26#39;re driving from Vegas to San Diego and changing it is fine if we have to, but we cant drive on a spare that long. Same goes for what if something mechanical breaks down on the car? SOL unless we have added roadside plus assistance?
Quick Rental Car Question
check with your personal carrier - or if you have AAA - if you are covered in the rental. You might be. this is not a Q for alamo as much as your carrier - and your credit card company, you might have coverage through ur CC.
while on phone ask if you have ';loss of use'; coverage or if your agent suggests you need it on the rental. you may/may not have this - and it is expensive through the rental car company.

I would keep contacting Alamo until you get a satisfactory answer. There does some to be some Roadside Assistance number to call for a standard rental but its not clear that you would do anything beyond reporting a problem with the car. My hunch is they would direct you to a location where the car could be switched out. If you decide you want to buy additional coverage, you can do it when you pick up the car.
