Try Sapporo Teppanyaki......you wont be disappointed!

It is a fabulous off strip restaurant that has fantastic food and entertainment. It was cheaper and better than anything we got on the strip. May be worth a try for those who have a car. It was full of locals which I think is always a good sign!

I am due to try Sapporo in Manchester, UK this weekend and am reaaly looking forward to another good night.

What were the prices?

Try Sapporo Teppanyaki......you wont be disappointed!

We have one here in Monterey overlooking the old fisherman%26#39;s wharf right above the yaught club (posing as a restaurant) where Clint Eastwood met the business woman in play Misty for me.

They have two sides with the cooks at your table cooking up your meals, and the Sushi side. I eat there often when I want sushi and love it. If it%26#39;s anything like the local one here, it%26#39;ll be good.

Where%26#39;s the one in Vegas exactly? (No I don%26#39;t feel like looking it up people, lol)

';It was full of locals which I think is always a good sign!';

Just curious - how could you tell? Although being off-strip it%26#39;s probably a safe bet, but still wondering...

Cost about 20-25 dollars for teppanyaki style, includes mini starter, soup, salad and fab main course all cooked very theatrically at your table.

It is located west of the strip by a few miles in a courtyard of shops and restaurants. I think it was on a road called Charleston but am not too sure. It is definately on a road parallel to Tropicana.

As you are seated with other diners(there are 8 to a table), we chatted to them and found that they were locals. They told us that tourists rarely visit and thats why they ate there! The chef was also very friendly and informative.

As you can tell we loved it!

Sapporo is located at 9719 W Flamingo Rd. (Go west from the Strip on Flamingo, keep going, keep going, past Rainbow, keep going, past Fort Apache, cross over the bridge spanning the 215 loop, look to the left, and you%26#39;ll see the Sapporo restaurant. If you miss it, turn at the light right before the Target sign, then backtrack to the restaurant thru the little streets/parking lots of the strip malls).

If some of you thought that Rosemary%26#39;s was far away from the Strip, this one is really out there....

I like Sapporo but I like Hamada of Japan even better. There are now a couple of locations but the original is on Paradise/Flamingo.
