Vegas-Excalibur, Flamingo or The Luxor

Im planning a trip for June 08, and i think i will stay in one of these but i cant decide which?

Any advice??

Vegas-Excalibur, Flamingo or The Luxor

Flamingo. Better location, better rooms, better pool.

Vegas-Excalibur, Flamingo or The Luxor

rates in June are usually reasonable - I%26#39;d encourage you to try to and book a better property.

of these 3 luxor - the best of the group, but not great. read recent reviews, especially flamingo - many love it for some reason, it is not good at all - but better than excal

so in order

luxor

flam

excal

post your dates and budget - i bet you can do much better

I recommend the Luxor. They are doing many renovations and changes to remove the Egyptian theme. Book one now and look as it closer for better deals.

I%26#39;ve not stayed at Excal (just walked through and gambled), but I%26#39;ve stayed at the other two. Luxor is the best of the three. The only time I stay at the Flamingo is if it%26#39;s free . Flamingo has the best location and pool, but the property is rather old. Luxor has nicer standard rooms,is a more interesting property and has better table games IMHO.

Thanks everyone, i think i may look for something better. Any suggestions??

bellagio- centre strip and beautiful hotel. Or Paris whch s right across the street from it. Both are in great locaton for a first trip.

Personally i love he luxor- and with the renovations that have ben going on i would definitely put it on your short list.

whats dates are you looking at in jne and what budgt are you thinking of?

Bellagio %26amp; Paris, unless you have a spectaculy special deal, are in a different category than your original post.

Try Bally%26#39;s or Monte Carlo. If a pool isn%26#39;t important, also check Barbary Coast - smaller but nice rooms. Further up the Strip, check Treasure Island. I believe all those would suit your needs, and be closer to the budget of the properties you posted.

Paris or PH.

I%26#39;ve stayed at Excalibur and Flamingo.

Excalibur is very ';hokey'; with the whole knights of the round table theme.......and it%26#39;s way at the end of the strip. I wouldn%26#39;t recommend it

Flamingo is ok, but not great

* We went at the end of March and the pool is big, but it was a pigsty by the end of the day (chairs, towels, all in disarray, no bar staff accessible, garbage everywhere)

* It took about an hour to check in at 11pm. It SUCKED!!

* a couple ok restaurants, but basically you%26#39;d only want to stay there for the proximity to Bellagio, Ceasar%26#39;s and central strip action.

Try Paris, Venetian, Palms or other 3-4star hotels.
