New Years Day (what's open..whats not??)

Just a quick question about shops and stuff on New Years Day.

Is the oultet at Primm on the way into Veags open New Years Day? Ive been to the webste and done the searches but cant ind if its open new years day? We will be driving from Anaheim to Vegas NYD and wanted to stop and do some shopping...

does anybody know for sure??

Also is Veags quieter just after new years? what will the area be like around this time??

just called they are open 10am-8pm new years day will be busy with all the hangovers and football but should slow after that

Looks like we will be leaving Anaheim pretty early to try and get in before the rush!!

The Sportsbooks will be open- New Years Day is about College football bowl games, and making resolutions you will struggle to keep....

We are also arriving on NYD. Couldn%26#39;t pass up the cheap airfare and hotel rooms. Flamingo was only 50 dollars a night. I am sure things will be open. I don%26#39;t think Vegas ever closes down. Also NYD is a big shopping day in the States for all the football widows.

I League season finishes in the next fortnight... over here in Australia NYD is an official day of hangovers!! and sleeping in! nothing at all is open,

yep we are spending a few nights at the flamingo as well! i agree $50 bucks a night is really cheap!! thats the reason why we decided to go to vegas then also!! :)
