going to see Love @ the Mirage, any recommended restaurants for dinner before/after show? buffett sugg ok too. or should we skip Mirage and eat somewhere else -- but close. thx
Mirage foodI can%26#39;t remember what it%26#39;s called, but there is a cafe or something inside the casino area where they serve the most amazing sandwiches. They are HUGE. They also have burgers and other food. The sandwiches come with a huge pickle. Very good.
Mirage foodStack is great for steak(expensive though) and the california pizza kitchen is delicious and reasonably priced.
Lovingthesun is referring to the Carnegie Deli. The portions are indeed huge, but they charge extra if you are going to share with someone. Haven%26#39;t tried it but have read mixed reviews on quality. It smelled good every time I walked by, though.
The only place we ate at Mirage was the Cravings buffet, and I have to say, it was excellent. Definitely one of the best I%26#39;ve had in terms of both variety and quality.
stayed there the end of August and ate at Carnegies and Cravings. I loved the chicken salad sandwich at Carnegies and my friend got the yummiest salad. Cravings was just ok for breakfast/brunch. I have had dinner at Cravings in the past and it was yummy.
I agree, Stack is great and it would certainly be my choice over the buffet. Cool atmosphere, fun menu, and good service. If you don%26#39;t want to shell out $$$ for the steak, consider doing a few of the appetizers meant for shairng. My mom got the ';hot rocks'; and in addition to her appetizer, she was plenty full. If you go, I highly recommend the adult tater tots. :)
Samba Brazilian Steakhouse

I Second the Samba grill. Excellent meat tastings from the Brazillian BBQ. Carnegie deli is very good.
My DW and I ate at Stack before seeing LOVE. The food was fantastic! The steak was good and the Sea Bass was out of this world! They also can get you out of the restaurant and on your way to the show if you let them know you have tickets.
I wouldn%26#39;t eat at the buffet or at the Brazian Steakhouse before a show cause I know I would end up getting sleepy :)
Kokomo%26#39;s for sure. The sea bass is to die for. For something quicker, simpler, cheaper CPK is always good....
I vote for Stack!
