POOl in February

We are planning a trip to Vegas in Feb 2008. This past Feb we took our children to Disneyland and used the hotel pool quite a bit. This year an adult only trip but are thinking we may use the pools. Just wondering if the pools are used in Feb in Vegas?

POOl in February

Usually only for ice skating lol...the average high temp is 63 degrees, with temps in the 30s at night!

my husband will swim - while I%26#39;m in a jacket. I can%26#39;t stand the cold air (pool heated). He%26#39;s usually not the only swimmer - maybe a few diehards in february. certainly not normally ';pool weather'; for most of us! if the temp suits you go for it

Most are closed. Almost no indoor opportunities anywhere. Check with your specific hotel for their schedule / policy.

Many hotels have one heated pool open during the winter months. They do,however, close sometime during the winter for maintenance so you have to check with your hotel.

Although the average high temperature in February is only in the 60s-some years the it has gotten up into the 70s or even 80s!

I guess it depends on what you are used to. I was staying at a private home in Vegas and never used the pool in winter. A neighbor had a sister who lived in Canada and when she came to visit she would take a dip in our pool (her brother didn%26#39;t have a pool) in weather that I would consider out of the question.

I once used the Jacuzzi in winter- getting in and staying in was fine. Getting out, drying off, putting on clothes and then running back to the hotel before turning into an ice cube was a challenge!

In Colorado it%26#39;s practically a sport to get in a hot tub when the temps are barely above zero, and then get out and roll around in the snow. Then run back to the hot tub. :) So, a pool in the 60%26#39;s isn%26#39;t too bad, and I%26#39;d certainly do the hot tub. But that%26#39;s just me.

Lol Laura... my big brother and I were just talkin about the big blizzard last year and how we were chillin the the hot tub while it dumped 3 feet of snow! (Coloradans are weird..... seriously... we are!)

Pookaloki, we really are!!

Last winter we devised the strategy for survising a 1/4 mile walk to the hot tub from the ski condo we stayed in. Bathing suit, towel wrapped around waist, snow boots, jacket, and stocking cap. Think I would get funny looks in Vegas doing that?? ;)

Pool in February .... BRRRRRR!!!!
