Watching College Games ...

I have been reading up on the sports books etc.. so far but have not seen any recent posts on them...

Anything new with the sports books that makes one better than the other???

We are going out next weekend and want to watch part of the games and bet etc...

So far it seems Bellagio and Caesers are the place to be... but I just wanted to see if anything new popped up over the last few months...

Thanks...

Those are still the best ones, along with the Hilton and IP. The best advice I can give you is to get there EARLY if you want to get seats together. They books fill up quickly for college and NFL games and stay packed pretty much all day.

Watching College Games ...

I was in Vegas a few weeks ago and here are the sportsbooks I visited:

1. Paris - No comfortable seating. Set up mostly for horse and dog racing viewing. Friendly tellers at the betting windows.

2. Flamingo - They have improved their seating from what it was. They have added leather sofas and chairs. It has a small, quaint and comfortable sports viewing area. Unfriendly tellers working the betting windows.

3. Planet Hollywood - Small sportsbook with very comfortable seating, but the viewing there is not the best due to having look around some of the columns that are there.

4. MGM - Great sportsbook. Many leather sofas and chairs with a large wall of TVs for viewing.

5. NYNY - Not a good sportsbook at all. Not set up well. Large wall of TVs, but hard to see. Only good thing is it is next to ESPN Zone.

TRY the ORLEANS or SOUTHPOINT

Off the beaten path, but have plenty of space.

If I were going to watch a game in a sportsbook, I would go out of my way to do it at Red Rock.

Harrah%26#39;s just recently renovated their sportsbook. Has anyone been there since it opened in Aug? I will check it out in Oct.

Bellagio, Caesar%26#39;s, LVH and have great reps and all are huge . IP has the strength of offering some very unusual wagering combinations.

Mirage has a very nice setup. I like Venetian as much for the good cocktail service and gorgeous CW%26#39;s as anything else.

The Orleans reccommendation is a good one. They%26#39;ll usually have seats available, plus they have $1 hotdogs available from a cart.

When I was in Vegas last year, I stayed at Mirage. Sportsbook was okay, but you have to sit in the old high school style seats to get free drink service. Not too comfortable. Went to Caesar%26#39;s as well. They don%26#39;t offer free drinks. I%26#39;ll be staying at MGM this weekend. Does anyone know if they are offering free drinks or drink tokes again? I know several years ago they weren%26#39;t.
