Philipine Air - Vancouver to Las Vegas - Anyone flown it?

Has anyone flown Phillipine Airlines? A friend is booking a deal for December but it%26#39;s flying Phillipine Air, which none of us have ever used. Has anyone flown it, and if so, was it ok?

I%26#39;ve flown PA - in the phillipines. Is the trip to LV the last leg of flight originating in the Phillipines? if so, pax will be on the through flight.

all airlines are basically the same until they have a problem - how well they handle those issues is important - you just never know. weather, traffic delays, full gates - none can be controlled by the airline.

if the price and schedule (hopefully non-stop) work and they take off and land on time it%26#39;s a decent trip.

sure, some airlines have seatback TV%26#39;s - ala jetblue and others - and if that is a deal breaker for you contact the airline (or check website) and find out the equipment used on the route and ask specific Q%26#39;s.

We flew a couple of years ago and it was great, actually served you food :) and the times/price were the main reasons we chose them and wouldnt hesitate to go with them again.

I have flown PA between Los Angeles and Manila. Good airline; I prefer Cathay Pacific, which is the best airline I have flown, but PA is good. Great service, good food, comfortable seats, etc. This is very important on a 15 hour flight from the States to Asia. Not as important on a flight from BC to Vegas!

My only concern would be the condition of the plane, the passengers and crew if this is the final leg of a flight from Manila to Vegas via B.C. I don%26#39;t know if they will do a complete cleaning of the plane in Vancouver and if they will have a new crew. If they do, fine -- you can deal with the fact that many of the passengers will have been traveling for far too long in that plane. But if they don%26#39;t do a complete clean-up and crew change, then the bathrooms might be messy, the crew tired and cranky, etc.

I hope someone who knows NOT JUST PA in general, but this leg of the flight in particular,. will answer you.
