Caesars Palace construction or renovation

Room rates seem pretty low for ';classic'; rooms in October. This is usually a prime month. Is anyone aware of any construction, pool closing etc. that would affect the desirability of these classic rooms?

Thanks,

Caesars Palace construction or renovation

If there%26#39;s anything going on at Caesar%26#39;s, it%26#39;s inside and not out. I didn%26#39;t see anything when I was walked past and through Caesar%26#39;s a week ago, at least not outside or in the casino. I think I read somewhere a couple of months ago that they might be redoing some of the original towers, don%26#39;t know if that%26#39;s true though and if it is, no idea when it was starting. If they are redoing, it%26#39;s long overdue.

Check out this website to find the plans for Caesars expansion and updates. It doesn%26#39;t say that anything is going on right now.

caesars has had continuous construction for 30 years, it seemed like they finally finished but I heard they will start soon on a new tower. I don%26#39;t think anything is going on now. Just once I would like to drive by caesars and not see a crane.

There is a major construction project planned that will affect the premium towers at some point. The project is approved and there was a hotel review saying it was affecting some of the pool.

However, the rates I%26#39;m seeing on the Hot Deals page don%26#39;t seem cheap. There are tons of rooms in other nearby hotels that are nicer than the classic rooms at Caesars for the price. I wouldn%26#39;t stay there unless I had a good deal on the Palace or Augustus Towers.
