Gift for Host?

I will be coming to Laughlin next week and booked this trip through my casino host. Air and room both comped. Anyway I booked it in late June, called last week to confirm and found out I was not on the flight. Their mistake, however there was a cancellation and my host was able to get me on. I have read on here that they are not able to accept money, but does anyone have any ideas what would be an appropriate gift for her?

Gift for Host?

I have heard that hosts get a lot of boxes of candies, jams, cookies etc. - so much at Christmas time that a lot of it gets tossed. The best gift in my opinion is a gift card. Make sure it is one they can use where they live. A gas card would be great, as they have to buy gas like everyone else. It is easy to stick one in a thank you card.

Gift for Host?

Thanks, I never would have thought of food items. I guess I was wondering if a bottle of wine would be okay. Is there somewhere close to Harrah%26#39;s to pick up a bottle (or two)?

There is a liquor store in the Laughlin Town Center. Take the road straight up the hill from the Edgewater until it ends at a stop sign. Take a left and go to the bottom of the hill just past the Mobil station. There is a liquor area in the Aldaphe%26#39;s food store on the left right after the Mobil.

Buy that booze here cause its cheaper than az........hic!..........lol

Misty is coming in on a plane, and will not have a car unless she rents one. Laughlin Town Center is too far to walk, and she asked for a liquor store near Harrah%26#39;s. Finding a decent bottle of wine along Casino Dr could be a problem. Misty might have to bring something from home.

Thanks everyone, and you%26#39;re right I won%26#39;t have a car. I guess I could stop once I cross the border into the US, and put a well wrapped bottle into my checked luggage. Nothing allowed anymore in the carryon, which makes it harder. Oh well, what woman doesn%26#39;t like a good box of chocolate??
