Does anyone know if the Gold Coast has stopped their fun book aswell as the Orleans? I thought that was one of the attractions of booking with them!!

Oh dear, I expect they will be gone before we return in May next year, so I may keep looking for the best deals on an all round basis.

They eliminated a lot of the good VP machines at the Orleans but they are still at the GC. They added a resort fee at the Orleans quite a while ago but they have yet to add it at the GC. Even if they do eliminate the fun books- it might be a while before they get around to doing it. I wouldn%26#39;t base a hotel choice on a fun book.

no one said eliminate a hotel because of a fun book...op asked if they still had them at gc so apparently it mattered to them...they will be eliminated at gc along with the shuttle by the end of the year...this according to many people who work for sammy boyd...the coast casino%26#39;s are crashing folks...stay downtown or on the strip

I agree, I would not book a room on being given a fun book but it was just a little extra that makes it a bit more tempting to stay. I do not worry about being on strip or anything like that, I look at what I am getting overall for my money. So if I saw another hotel around the same price I would go for the one which was offering extra%26#39;s, so it is good to know when a property has dropped something you used to get.
