Best Suite in vegas for around $500 a night ?
The crucial factor here is the dates of your trip. I suite that%26#39;s say $400 per night on Sunday thru Thursday can easily be $1000 per night on Friday and Saturday. Also a time when there%26#39;s a big convention or other major event can send rates rocketing. Vegas hotels operate purely on supply and demand, more so than any other city in the world.
Bellagio, while not the newest hotel on the Strip is certainly far from being ';very tired and dated';.

On select days during the week, I%26#39;ve seent the MGM Skylofts for $500 per night. If you can get them for that price, there%26#39;s no comparison anywhere else. These are $1000 per night suites and the $500 per night rate is a steal if you ask me.
We expect to pay a higher premium for the weekend nights and are arriving in mid november.
A Bellagio penthouse was a dream of Caroline%26#39;s and I have just read so much bad press about the rooms? I hate the idea of a room costing that much having crt T.V%26#39;s and big gawdy floral print furnishings....ugh.
Wynns...Mandalay Bay.....Bellagio.....Venetian....Help me i%26#39;m drowning!

It%26#39;s hard to factor in the taste in decor and furnishings of somebody you%26#39;ve never met so knowing which hotel would best suit your tastes is difficult.
Exact dates of your trip and approx maximum budget would be a start in making some suggestions.
I%26#39;m curious to know where you%26#39;ve seen the ';bad press'; about the Bellagio Penthouse Suites. Wer these the opinions of professional reviewers or just regular travelers?
MGM Suites, the larger ones 1,200 square ft plus are often no more than Bellagio%26#39;s standard room. Certainly within your $500 nt budget....
When are you going? Bellagio is renovating their suites and should be done by January. They have not been renovated before now so they were getting really outdated. I personally like the look of Wynn%26#39;s Parlor Suite the best for that price.
Last October our group stayed in a couple of suites at Bellagio. We had a 2 bedroom penthouse suite (2052 SQF) for $800/night with a connecting room (2 double beds, 626 SQF) @$299/night weekday and $429 Saturday, and a 1 BR Bellagio Suite (1020 SQF) for $425/night. We%26#39;re staying there again this year, getting the 2 BR Penthouse Suite and three 1 BR Bellagio Suites. We were very happy with the rooms. We had checked rates and suites at Wynn, THEhotel at Mandalay Bay, Green Valley Ranch, and Palms but Bellagio seemed to be best deal for the amount of room and a place that was actually a suite and not just a large room. We wanted a place that had a separate living room/dining room area where the 5 of us could all hang out and this worked out perfectly.
';just read so much bad press about the rooms? I hate the idea of a room costing that much having crt T.V%26#39;s and big gawdy floral print furnishings....ugh.';
To be honest, with that kind of attitude, you will hate all the rooms at all the hotels.
I like to know where you read all those negative reviews, and seen all those ';bad'; pictures?????
Actually Musicman I%26#39;ve seen some of those pictures and I wouldn%26#39;t want to stay in a room decorated that way either. Bellagio has finally decided to do something about it. The candid traveler photos here on Trip advisor are a good example. You can tell the suites from the deluxe rooms, the suites are the ones with all the flowers and really old looking furniture, the deluxe rooms and the suites in the spa tower are much nicer.
I love the Bellagio Suite! There are two full bathrooms and one half bathroom. There is a bedroom and living room! Just beautiful! We have one reserved in November under a promotional code! If you have time, you can keep an eye on the Bellagio website for promotions. We have also stayed in Salone Suite at Bellagio, which is nice too.
