Comps are ';complimentary'; things (tickets, buffets, rooms, etc.) the casinos give gamblers who play long and hard at their establishment.

You put your hard earned money into slots and other gambling so they give you free meals and rooms to woo you into coming back until you are totally broke.

free stuff/rooms/meals/shows,etc. offered to you for various reasons by a casino/hotel. hi rollers get lots of comps. the average guy gets few.

i have to disagree - comps are NOT free. you must risk $$ to earn comps - even cocktails. No gambling, no comps.

You will also see ';don%26#39;t chase comps'; often

In general, pay for your trip, gamble your budget and have fun. if by chance you earn a few comps consider it a bonus.

Once you get to know the ins and outs of player%26#39;s clubs (always ask at the club booth-they will be happy to explain) and know your limits, budget and preferrred gambling you might, that%26#39;s MIGHT, be able to get comped rooms.

it is easy to get cocktails, a little more for meals. leanr the system, play within your budget.

Comps are NOT FREE - don%26#39;t be lured.

You might get offers for discounted rooms during slow times - these can be great for the average gambler, they allow you to visit decent properties at reduced rates - a nice bonus.

';Hard earned money'; and ';totally broke'; imply that comps are not ';free';....excuse moi.
