Bars/Lounge Bars in Vegas

On our trip this year we found lots of noisy bars but very few nice lounge bars where you could sit and have a drink without being blasted out without music.

The one i liked and would like to find others similar was at the parousel at the Wynn.

Any recommendations for old vegas lounge bars or just nice ones to people watch.

What about a dueling piano bar? They seem quite serene. There are several, Paris, NYNY, etc.

Japonais over at Mirage is very peaceful (I%26#39;m a big fan of Parasol Down/Up as well.) I found Petrossian Bar, West Wing Bar, and Quarks Bar all peaceful places to get a drink as well, but Petrossian is probably the only one I%26#39;d say is good for people watching of those 3.. Even Napoleans at Paris wasn%26#39;t too bad, even with the dueling pianos. Zuri at MGM is another great one, I love all the velvet and it%26#39;s great for people watching.

The Fireside Lounge at the Peppermill is very ';old Vegas';

La Scena at the Venetian would probably be to your taste.

I wouldn%26#39;t recommend the dueling pianos, though, we%26#39;ve been to Harrahs and NYNY%26#39;s, and both were very loud and rowdy.

Something a little different then the ones mentioned, go have a drinks at the Top of the Strat Tower at Sunset.

I would also suggest you avoid the dueling pianos at any casino. They are fun but they are certainly loud and they are by no means serene. At Harrahs they sometimes put the spotlight on people who are talking too much. I haven%26#39;t been to the Peppermill Lounge but I think they now have videos- which I would assume would ruin the atmosphere for me. How about the Baccarat Bar at the Bellagio? Just a nice grand piano.
