councils for a trip to LV : from 28 sept to 2 oct 2007

Hello !

My husband and me will be in Las Vegas on Friday 28 september at the evening to Tuesday 2 october (early departure to the airport), therefore we “will be” so really “3 days ”.

We will place with Stratosphere Hotel and we did not rent a car.

This small stay is our “gift of wedding anniversary -14 years” and we had thus passed 1 day over there at the time of our honeymoon, but 1993 (MGM was not built yet!).

I remember that there were many coupons of reduction and even for “ free small items” to get in the casinos (so the customers go in and have to cross the gaming rooms), does it exist always ? and if so, where to get them?

Our hotel is at the end of the strip, very far from all, does it exist buses or shuttles to go to the center without having to take a taxi each time? if so, thank you to say to us where and how to do.

What do you think about the Strastosphere hotel?

I read on a site that there are many paying attractions in the “new hotel-casinos”, can you say to me where I would find the price of these attractions and so it is worth or not.

I also read that a special pass for ” 1,2 or 3 days” for several attractions in various hotels, is it attractive or not ? Has somebody tested this pass?

For the meals, it seems that there are many buffets; which are the best ? Have we to take a reservation for these buffets ?

I read that there were “outlet stores”? Which are interesting and those “to avoid”?

I also seek the address of a store:

- items of ballet dancing (the slippers of point in the USA would cost 1/4 of the price and my daughter needs some very often)

- of “reborning dolls” ( usual in the USA but untraceable in France and Belgium.)

- toys (with a broad choice of Playmobil).

All your councils are welcome.

Thank you in advance ! and sorry for my poor English !

Kisses of Belgium

Nadine

Did you use one of those %26#39;free translator%26#39; things on the internet to transfer it to English...?

Will leave this to a genuine expert.

It seems that you used a translator for these questions. I cannot answer all of them but I will try to answer a few.

Las Vegas has changed very much in the past 14 years.

The Stratosphere hotel is further away from the other hotels on the strip. I have never been there. You can ride the Duce bus for transportation or hire a taxi.

The Fashion Show mall is on the strip across from the Wynn hotel. There are many stores there that would have ballet slippers. There is a large toy store in the Forum Shops by Caesars Palace that would have Playmobil.

You do not need a reservation for a buffet.

There are free attractions at several casinos. Perhaps someone else can provide you with a list.

Attractions:

The Deuce bus runs on the strip and downtown. It can be slow and crowded.

You do not have to make reservations for the regular buffets.

There is a very large toy store (FAO Schwarz) in the Forum Shops- Caesars Palace.

There are 3 outlet malls: I think this one is the best:

Las Vegas Premium Outlets 875 S. Grand Central Pkwy, I-15 exit 41B, Charleston Blvd. www.premiumoutlets.com/outlets/outlet.asp…

This one is a few miles from Mandalay Bay-

Las Vegas Outlet Center 7400 Las Vegas Blvd

This one is about 45 minutes from the strip and I wouldn%26#39;t recommend going just for the shops:

Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas- Primm http:

Thank you VP, I couldn%26#39;t find that link to the attractions for the life of me.

One suggetion on shopping is that to remember that you have to get your purchases onto an airplane totake them home.
