Planing on heading to Vegas for this thanking giving(2007)... Wonder if it is usually busy or not with MB, also, do the pools open during that time of the year?

Pools usually close in Nov so I would check with the hotel. It all depends on the weather.

I spent 8 years in Vegas during my Thanksgiving vacation- never once was I able to swim in a pool. You might get lucky and hit a warm spell- but I would not count on it.
Pools are open 9am to 5pm, Nov will be to Cold to swim.
