I have been telling my sister that she needs to go out to Las Vegas because it%26#39;s such an awesome place and so much fun. This has been going on for years (I go at least 3 times a year). Well she finally went and said she hated it. Every looked sad and there was no nightlife so she cut her trip short and went out to California.
Anyone out there agree?
Vegas boring??!!!
To each his/her own.
It is a free country/world. Maybe someday she will find out.
Vegas boring??!!!
Younker,
I know plenty of people that didn%26#39;t rate Vegas like us lot. Although most of them have said they can understand why people would love it but it just wasn%26#39;t for them.
I am a firm believer that everyone should visit Vegas at least once in their lives.
I guess it just comes down to what you are looking for in a holiday. Vegas isn%26#39;t for everyone and I for one am glad it%26#39;s not... or could you imagine the room rates!
I will be in Vegas in 2 weeks and this will be my 2nd trip. I am obsessed with the place and am interested to see if I enjoy the 2nd trip as much as the 1st.

';Anyone out there agree?';
As has been said each to their own and plenty will agree with this statement. The chances of finding many of them of this forum are pretty minimal.
My daughter had a convention there a few years ago and could not stand it. She wasn%26#39;t there under the best of circumstances, as she was working for a jewelry distributor and had to dress in heels all day and stayed in MGM where she had to walk forever. She also hates smoke and said she couldn%26#39;t get away from the smoke smell, even outside. So, no, not everyone loves Las Vegas and I guess we have to let them have their side to the issue. I won%26#39;t put them down for not liking it, if they don%26#39;t put me down for absolutely loving it.

I agree with blagger. Those who would agree with that statement aren%26#39;t going to be on this forum. I know people who have gone to Vegas and did not have a good time. It was just too glitzy gaudy and over-the-top for their tastes. No one city is ever going to please everyone- nor should it.
Come on....Be honest.
We all hate Vegas.
We hate losing, we hate delays in getting there, we hate turbulance on the plane landing, we hate it when a cab driver takes the tunnel, we hate it when our door at the wynn throws us across the hall, we hate the clowns on the headboards at circus circus, and most of all, we hate having to wait so long untill our next visit.
Vegas will always be a place to visit and i also agree with Blagger to each is own,never a dull moment in Vegas.
There are just some people who don%26#39;t approve of Vegas. They%26#39;d rather go to London, Greece, or France. I%26#39;m a bit too young to travel internationally.
I love it, but some don%26#39;t.
No night life, there are tons of clubs in Vegas, don%26#39;t understand that.
But, I have also been trying to get my sister to Vegas, too. I have finally stopped pushing her. If she hates it I would feel real bad.
';I know plenty of people that didn%26#39;t rate Vegas like us lot. Although most of them have said they can understand why people would love it but it just wasn%26#39;t for them.';
My wife said that almost word for word after she and I went to Vegas for the first time together last November. I had been before briefly (12 hours) at the tail end of a business trip but she had never been.
We had a great time and loads of fun but she has no desire to go back and I thought I had gotten my fix. Now I%26#39;m starting to think about it again. I should probably stay off this forum. LOL.
To each his own, but ';Every looked sad and there was no nightlife ';?????
