Golf in Vegas is expensive and you%26#39;ll struggle to find anything great for that price. In the summer maybe when there%26#39;s lots of deals as it%26#39;s generally too hot for most to play, but not in October.

';Not too far from the Strip'; is a problem too. A rental car is really a must for Vegas golf especially as there%26#39;s three of you.

There%26#39;s been a few threads about this very recently. Try a forum search to see more detailed answers.

There aren%26#39;t many that are reasonably priced--that are also good courses--very close to the strip. However, a few minutes out are:

Aliante Golf Course: $40-60 depending on time of day, midweek.

Angel Park (Palm or Mtn course): $75-$100 ($55-$75 Sept.)

Highland Falls: $75

Tuscany (Henderson): $69-129

There are many more.

I would try to secure a tee time a week or so before arriving if you want to play during the cooler part of the day in the hot season, or the warmer part of the day in the cool season.
