Just out of curiosity. My girlfriend and I (21 years old) are considering going to Vegas in December and im just wondering if there are things for couples to do (aside from partying) or is more of a non stop party place?
Really stupid question I know...A few people have told me its not a good idea to go with just your girlfriend because there isnt much to do just the two of us.
Vegas for couples?
What kind of ';couples things'; are you looking to do.
There are shows, shops, nature, tours, skydiving, golf, tennis, and on and on.
You need to be more specific on what ';things'; you are looking to do.
Vegas for couples?
Also the people that told you that there was not much to do:
a) have never been to Vegas
b) are liars
c) never surfed the internet to acquire knowledge before they spoke
d) know the truth and are morons trying to ruin your trip.
My girlfriend and I are each 24 and going in December. My girlfriend%26#39;s main interests for things to do while there are shopping, eating at nice restaurants, and comedy shows. She absolutely does not enjoy gambling and probably won%26#39;t put more than $20 in slot machines the entire time we are there.
Currently I have planned dinners at decent but not extremely high end restaurants while trying to get some variety: Tao, Onda, and Hugo%26#39;s Cellar.
For shows I%26#39;ve booked Wayne Brady (mostly because she thinks he%26#39;s hilarious) but also Love and Mystere so that she gets to see some Cirque (which I believe to be a Vegas essential).
There are also some great ';couple'; things to do. For $60 you can take a private gondola ride at the Venetian (other wise it%26#39;s $15/person and you%26#39;d share the gondola with another couple). For $9/person you can also go up the Eiffel Tower at Paris.
There%26#39;s also really good shopping at the Fashion Show Mall, the Las Vegas Outlet Center, the Fourm Shops at Caesars...
It all depends on what you two like to do.
more things along the line of shows and such.... i guess just walking around shopping seeing vegas
thanks for your response by the way i appreciate it
Vegas is a very couples oriented city. Don%26#39;t worry about that. Certainly, you have done online searches? It also depends on what your interests are. Just do some research and you%26#39;ll find lots of things to do.
Well for shows I always check out:

You can search by date and by genre so that will help with picking stuff out. Be sure to check back for headliners as they often aren%26#39;t announced until a month or two before they perform.

That site has good reviews of hotel, restaurants and other things. Despite its name it%26#39;s not only about how to do Vegas on the cheap.

That site has some good tips and other miscellaneous advice.
The best advice I can give is to determine what kind of things you do like to do (especially together) and then search around for things that meet those needs.
Another good idea is a ';couples package'; which some spas offer. Usually you%26#39;ll get a massage together, have a healthy lunch together, etc.
';Really stupid question I know...A few people have told me its not a good idea to go with just your girlfriend because there isnt much to do just the two of us';
I%26#39;m confused here...don%26#39;t you and your girlfriend enjoy spending time with each other in Toronto? Wouldn%26#39;t you enjoy spending time with each other in Las Vegas doing whatever interests you? Shows, meals, gambling, going out for a drink, shopping, just wandering around, relaxing in the room, sightseeing?
There are tons of things you can do as a couple....really everything (almost....).
Shows, gambling, sightseeing, eating, drinking, sleeping, WHIVSIV, shopping, relaxing, pool, the list is endless......
I agree with Shrek%26#39;s a-d list....I can%26#39;t understand why your friends would tell you this!!
There are tons of things to do in Vegas no matter what- if you go alone, as a couple or in a group.
this puzzles me - whoever gave you this info is mistaken. You can do anything in LV you do anyplace else. Whatever you like to do as a couple, do it. Wherever you are the fun is!!
