Reasonably priced golfing near the strip

Greetings friends,

My brother and I are going to Vegas in December for a few days and are hoping to play golf at two different places. I have done some research on the internet, but have run into some trouble.

The keys are...

*relatively close to the strip as we will be taking a taxi.

*price is under $75 a round in December.

Any recommendations is appreciated.

Thanks,

Matthew

Reasonably priced golfing near the strip

For that sort of money you may just find a round in the summer when it%26#39;s 110 degrees and they%26#39;ll do anything to get people to play. In winter I%26#39;d say that you%26#39;re not going to find what you require. Here%26#39;s a thread from yesterday on golf around Vegas:

There are only two places to play around the strip for that kind of money, Las Vegas National and Calaway golf center Pitch-n-putt course. Neither worth the effort or expense.

Up it to $100 to $150 and get a rental car for the day is the only way you are going to get to play any place desirable. Otherwise you can stay at Wynn (required to play the course) for $500 or Bali Hai right on the strip for about $250.

Dream on about the location and price.

thanks for the help. lets assume that i rent a car then and wanted a place relatively close (15 minutes) that is reasonably priced, which places would you recommend?

thanks,

matthew

Aliante Golf Course: $40-60 depending on time of day, midweek.

Angel Park (Palm or Mtn course): $75-$100 ($55-$75 Sept.)

Highland Falls: $75

Tuscany (Henderson): $69-129

There are many more.
