What hotel are you staying at this year and why?

I am staying for 10 nights in October when the prices are sky high, so staying on the strip the entire time was out of the question.

I also enjoy trying out new hotels.

My Hotels:

Gold Coast 鈥?(1st and 2 night) 鈥?(off-strip) I could not pass up the price of $45.00 per night with includes 2 free breakfast and dinner buffets. I always wanted to check out the Rio and Palms which are close by.

MGM 鈥?(Fri, Sat, Sun) 鈥?I have stayed at the MGM on each of my trips so far. The weekend rate was cheap compared to most offers I received ($89 / $69)

South Point (Mon-Friday) 鈥?off strip, 4 free nights, yes doing the timeshare thing, I will let you know how that goes. Paying for Friday night $120

I plan to not step foot on the strip until we go to MGM. I will visit Rio, the Palms and the Orleans

MGM 鈥?I will hang from mid-strip to downtown

South Point 鈥?hope to hang South Strip, Hard Rock, Sam鈥檚 Town and Green Valley Ranch. (I have never been to any of these)

What hotel are you staying at this year and why?

I went and checked out GVR 10 days ago, loved the hotel and the grounds and nice shopping area right across the street with restaurants etc. There%26#39;s a 10 screen movie threater on the lower level of GVR. Nice casino as well and I really enjoyed the time spent there.

Harrah%26#39;s of course Oct 23-27. Can%26#39;t wait to see Bob.

So far this year i have stayed at Paris (comped) and my wife loves that place.

CP for one night, again, it was comped

When traveling alone, I have stayed at South Point and Orleans, both, because I had great offers

My next trip will be around thanksgiving, and alone, so I%26#39;ll stay at wherever I can find the best offer

I%26#39;ll be at the Golden Nugget October 16-18 for a work conference/training thing........that%26#39;s where it%26#39;s being held, and I like the Golden Nugget anyway!

Then I move to Paris for one night on the 19th.....it%26#39;s one of my favorite spots on the strip, and I got a decent player%26#39;s rate considering that is a Friday night!

I am staying at Paris 3 nights in November because I was able to get it comped. I have always stayed at Ballys.

Harrah%26#39;s Jan 13-17. Great package deal with United Vacations.

Like the casino and the location.

I%26#39;ll be staying at The Wynn from now on. Stayed there in May, again last month and booked for November.

Why? Best room experience, best gaming experience, best service, best restaurants. And I get a good rate through my host.

Of course, these things are all subjective (except for the rate!), so it really will come down to personal preference.

IF I can go again this year, we%26#39;ll stay at Monte Carlo, since it%26#39;s a comped stay and I love staying/playing there. However, my old host from MC has since moved to the Venetian and he has offered us two free nights, so would love to take advantage of that someday.

Regarding GVR - anyone else has other opinions? Ever since watching American Casino, I%26#39;ve wanted to check it out.

I visited the GVR and really liked it there. My husband prefers staying on strip, so actually booking a room there is out of the question. I would go back and although I didn%26#39;t personally see the rooms I would stay there if given the chance.
