Hi,
I have seen comments on here that you can recontact the hotel if the rate drops between you booking and arriving for your stay.
Is this okay to do? We have booked direct with Bills Gambling Hall and the total for our stay has dropped by about $50 since we booked.
what to do if hotel room rate drops after you book
Call the hotel, give them your reservation number and ask them to adjust the rate for your stay to the new lower rates. Confirm that they%26#39;ll email you a new confirmation showing the adjusted rates and you%26#39;re all set.
Nothing to stop you doing this again if rates come down.

Blagger is right, I have always watched the rates after I booked. Never had anyone refuse to change if the rates drop. Just takes a phone call.
Thanks just checked our booking and it has actually gone down closer to $100 in total from when we booked last week....... more dollars for the slots if it works out......
I%26#39;ve actually heard of people asking about current rates when they checked in and having it adjusted then, if it is lower. I guess it could work, but don%26#39;t wait till then, if the prices are lower now. It could go up again.

I had my room rates adjusted after I booked, no problems at all. I just emailed them saying what my rate was booked at, compared to the current rate, and they lowered them.
Great catch. Keep watching them and call them everytime the rate goes lower or if a better deal comes out. You can even call them and say that the new deal has added a free drink or show tix and I would like that added. Most casinos are very good at this.
The hotels do adjust the rates because they know you can cancel and book elsewhere possibly even lower yet.
This is why everyone should book direct in Las vegas. If your booked with a tour company, you are out of luck.
I emailed them yesterday......
still waiting for a response, if I don%26#39;t hear anything by tomorrow I will have to phone....
welly172, Vegas hotels invariably take a minimum of 3 business days to reply to emails. Even though you%26#39;re overseas I would definitely call them.
