Cheap and tasty eats

Having lived in the States 8 years ago, I know what value for money dining out can be.

I would be grateful for recommendations for great value for money places to eat in Vegas for breakfast/lunch and dinner. Value for money being emphasised on the food quality not the portions as we%26#39;ll be staying in a hotel and out all the time so won%26#39;t be wrapping our leftovers for another meal.

Orleans has a graveyard special. It runs from Midnight to 6 a.m. I think maybe 7, and it is 2 eggs, hash browns, bacon and toast for $1.49!!!!! I haven%26#39;t tried it yet but I want to next time we go to Vegas. For the price alone I just gotta see how good this deal is. Plus Sams town is about 10 miles east off the strip so if you have a car (rental) then try it once. They have steak and eggs every day for $3.49. My friend and I ate there and I got two steak and egg meals for $7...I was in heaven. Plus check the food area on this page and print it out. It has a ton of stuff for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some of the things might be old but plenty of current stuff. Here is part of that list and what it looks like:

There is no better value for money and quality than a good lunch buffet; Planet Hollywood, Paris, Mandalay Bay, Rio, Wynn, Mirage.

Make this your main meal of the day 11am-330 pm, eat a light snack morning and evening. If you stick to the above list, the value is the best. Beverages included, $20 with tax/tip. Fresh fruit and healthful foods in large variety

Thought the selection of great items tempts you to go on eating, you are not required to do so

For breakfast Ellis Island has steak and eggs also. Not on the menu. I think without tip it totalled $7.56 for 2 of us. Quite good.

For a nice, cool, refreshing drink....you can always get a slushy!!!!

They come in a little cup for a buck downtown if you go there to watch the light show!

At NYNY the food court has lots of small eating places that look like you are in the city of NYNY.The pizza place sells big slices for a couple of dollars and my hubby and I found it to be some of the best pizza ever. It was great when we just wanted to eat something quick and get back to gambleing and drinking.
