Mirage or Paris hotel?

Never being to Las Vegas.

We are going there in begining of November.

I can get Mirage or Paris hotel package for almost the same price. But have no idea what to choose.

Any sugestions?

Reading the reviews they are all so diferent.

Thank you

Rachel

Mirage or Paris hotel?

I would go with Paris mainly because it%26#39;s newer and somewhat more in the center of the strip. I%26#39;ve been in both and I like the atmosphere of Paris a little better also.

Mirage or Paris hotel?

I%26#39;d say this is a toss up... they%26#39;re about equal in my book.

I don%26#39;t know what%26#39;s most important to you. Rooms - I liked Paris better, Casino - I like Mirage, Pool - Mirage, Shopping - Paris (it%26#39;s next door to the Desert Passage at the Planet Hollywood), Buffet - Mirage (but lots of folks rate Paris among the best, too).

You%26#39;ll have a great time at either one!

I prefer Mirage as it is an MGM-Mirage property vs. Paris which is Harrahs. Others feel the exact opposite.

Both are nice, and neither should disappoint.

rgi,

It%26#39;s a toss up as others have said. You will like either one. But if I had to choose I would go with Paris, only because I like to go to the spa and Mirage%26#39;s spa is being renovated. If you like to spend time at the pool Mirage would be my choice but it%26#39;s November.

p.s. I%26#39;ve stayed at both several times.

We just stayed at the Mirage for the first time and did not like it. Our room was warm and muggy so they moved us to another room that was warm and muggy. Air conditioning system was completely inadequate. Considered moving to a different hotel but decided to live with it. Also bathroom was tiny with no ventilation. My vote would be for Paris.

I like the restaurants and the rooms at the Mirage, but I%26#39;m not a fan of their casino. I would go with Mirage because it is right in the middle of all the big boys (Venetian, TI, and Wynn to the north, Caesars, Bellagio to the South).

Paris for a first time. It%26#39;s a nice hotel and connected to Bally%26#39;s- which IMO is a fun place to gamble. You may get lucky and get a view of the fountains. Are the prices comparable?

';You may get lucky and get a view of the fountains';

Views of the fountains at Paris come with the more expensive Premier rooms. Harrah%26#39;s don%26#39;t seem to give very many free upgrades these days if reports are to be believed so the only way you%26#39;re going to get a Strip view is by paying for one.

I%26#39;ve stayed at both and would generally say Paris for it%26#39;s location. However, being female and given the fact I like to do some shoppinng when in Vegas, I prefer the location of the Mirage for that. I also like the location for ease of getting to Caesar%26#39;s and Bellagio. I just prefer that side of the strip more.

Paris rooms are probably a touch nicer for now, however once the Mirage has done all of it%26#39;s renovations and put new bathrooms in that will change, I%26#39;m sure.

As for casino%26#39;s and dining options, the Mirage definitely gets the nod from me on those two counts.

Just toss a coin! Both are excellent properties that have much to offer. It really doesn%26#39;t matter which comes out on top, both are excellent, properties in my opinion!

I would choose Mirage any day over Paris, better Restaurants, pool hands down better then Paris, location just as good as Paris, bigger casino then Paris, Std rooms on par with Paris, a bit more up-scale with clientele then Paris/Bally crowd and the biggest Mirage is NOT a Harrah鈥檚 property.
