Yes the Casino Royale%26#39;s free play is a gimmick, but not all casinos.

The Casino Royale is the only casino that does this:

Their free play is only on certain machines, and you are not allowed to cash any winnings out...you have to continue playing untill it is either all gone, or you hit a jackpot (there ar 3 amounts you can win from 100 to 5000 dollars, and that rarely happens)

Other casinos that offer 10, or 15 dollars in free play you can actually win on, and can cash out your winnings.

I won $47 on a $10 free play on slots as a new sign up in the Golden Nugget 24 K Players Club, so I know that one gives you a chance. I have heard that the Casino Royale one is only on a few designated very tight machines and almost never pays off , which is why it is often offered as a ';reward'; for attending time share presentations as well as in their fun book.

Spike is right.....at the Wynn this past August we all got $75 Freeplay on our Red Cards as part of our stay. My mom played a triple diamond dollar machine....programmed in her FreePlay....1st spin max credits (3).....Triple Diamond, Triple Diamond, Seven.....$2700 off of Free Play!!!!!! You can win on it!!
