baby facilities

Hi we%26#39;re going to L.V this October and we%26#39;re bringing our 10mth old daughter with us also the in-laws are coming (free babysitters!!)

Would like to know if there are supermarkets nearby that sell nappies, food and formula milk.

Also would we need to bring our car seat for in the taxi (do they have laws like in the U.K on child seats?)

Does anyone know if it%26#39;s worth going to the outlets stores there, is it much cheaper?

many thanks in advance for all the answers to all these questions!!

There is a CVS drug store on the strip, I assume they will sell baby food and nappies.

All babies require to be in the car seat, all the time, so, you need to bring your car seat.

Outlets are cheaper than regular stores, and you will save some, but you better get an answer from a female shopper on this one

Just found this when searching for an answer to a different post. It says no car seat is required (but personally I would probably bring mine):

Please, please bring a car seat. Too many parents have lost their children in survivable car wrecks because the child was not in a safety seat.

From a female shopper%26#39;s perspective, my opinion on outlet malls is that they are cheaper for name brand items. If you like a particular name brand or all name brand then outlet shopping can work in your favor. If you however, like me, don%26#39;t care who made it as long as it%26#39;s cute and a good price then a regular mall with sales will work best for you.

Hey thank you to all of you, I will definately be bringing the car seat then, do youu know if it%26#39;s possible to hire one at the airport?

Don%26#39;t know about hiring a car seat at the airport but I%26#39;d beware of the quality. Unknown origins - you can%26#39;t tell from a visual inspection whether a car seat has been in an accident or not and one accident could compromise the integrity of the seat.

My sister was in an accident a few years back, my niece was in the car as well. The car seat looked fine but the officer said she%26#39;d need to replace the seat because you don%26#39;t know the integrity of the seat after the accident since it did absorb some of the impact - even if it was from the strain of the seatbelt hold the carseat in place.

I%26#39;d bring my own seat. If your daughter is going to be a lap child, you can check the car seat on. If she has her own seat, if you use the car seat on the plane, you need to make sure it%26#39;s FAA compliant - should have a sticker on the carseat saying it.

We recently went to Maui and the attendants checked our seat for our 2.5 yr old and saw the FAA sticker. I saw another passenger have to check their seat at the gate because it was FAA approved.
