TR September 14 - 17th - FABULOUS TIME! Saturday Day

Okay got up late, around 10:30 and got ready and went straight down to the front desk to get the coupons all sorted out. After much confusion (on their part) they got them printed and all was fine. We went directly upstairs to the STOMP ticket office and reserved our seats for that nights late show.

After that we went down to the Spice Market Buffet and CHOWED. Of course they lived up to the ';2007 Award'; they keep flashing around and we had eaten there last time and loved it. I was so full though, it was hard to walk afterwards.

We decided to hit the Forum Shops and ended up spending a lot of the day there. I loved it. Missed these last time and was in heaven. Now I have a question....is the ATlantis show the same thing as the Statues that come to life everyone talks about? Cause if it is, we were like LAME! We thought they were like actual people looking things that came to life, not robotic things. Someone set me straight. DH was excited cause he managed to get some pics of Pete Rose who was in there signing autographs. I of course was in my glory going around to all these fancy shops, until I looked at price tags in Betsy Johnson and Juicy Couture!!! NOT! Couldn%26#39;t afford anything in there.

But guess what we finally discovered? FAT TUESDAY!!!!! Okay, thi is our new favourite place. We loved it. Stupidly we got just the throw away cup the first time. WE got smart after that. The Forum store has a Chippery in it and we LOVED those chips. WE sat at the table munching chips and watching this lame Atlantis show while sipping on Slushy drinks. YUMMY! This was one of our highlights.

After this we walked to Treasure island and wandered around. Found some neat stuff. All the while we were hitting slot machines and what not along the way. I managed to get 5 players cards while I was there from different casinos..yeah me!

After that we walked to the Venetian. I have to say this is truly in my opinion the most beautiful hotel Vegas has. It%26#39;s just gorgeous inside and out. I don%26#39;t know if you%26#39;d heard (you probably have, this board knows everything) but the final tower will enable the Venetian to hold 7000 rooms when it%26#39;s all said and done. Biggest in the world! Anyways, went to this neat store in there that was called something with Stupid Factory beside it. Loved the shirts in there. Dh bought a couple. Wandered around and then hit the slots for a while. Drank some more.

Then from there we walked to the Wynn. Can you say we did a lot of walking that day? We majorly hit the streets on foot. Loved the Wynn. I think the casino there is the most beautiful and less smoke filled of all that we went to. It just seemed more organized and quiet and sooooo less smokey. Dh had a blackjack lesson from a great dealer named Kris. He was fabulous. Kept giving us great hints. Got their players card with the $10 in slot play.

I think I will stop now. I will do Saturday night and Sunday later. This will also enable me to try to remember some things I may have forgotten. So far we LOVED IT.

TR September 14 - 17th - FABULOUS TIME! Saturday Day

LOL...yep, the Atlantis show is the one with the moving statues. The aquarium that sits underneath it is pretty cool though....did you get to check out the fish swimming around in there?

Yay....glad you found a slushy drink! Sounds like a fun day.....

TR September 14 - 17th - FABULOUS TIME! Saturday Day

You got all happy in your TR when you spoke of finding Fat Tuesdays!!! LOL Glad you enjoyed that place!

And 7,000 rooms? Largest in the world?? Finally. Now I can complain about how large the V is and how hard it is to find my way around inside and get lost and walk for days...... and take people%26#39;s mind of the MGM, LOL!

Wow! A great TR so far! I am enjoying reading it... it seems like everything you did was fun!! My kind of trip!

Loving your TR so far, looking forward to the next installment.

Iof course was in my glory going around to all these fancy shops, until I looked at price tags in Betsy Johnson and Juicy Couture!!! NOT! Couldn%26#39;t afford anything in there.

LOL me too, they are on my wish list!

Where is Fat Tuesday? I%26#39;m confused as to it%26#39;s location.

Fat Tuesday is directly to the left side of the Atlantis show if you are looking at it from the front. We could see the people and the side of the show. We could also see the fish tanks off to OUR left. There is also one we found in the Miracle Mile Shops and another somewhere else - again this is where it gets Hazy!

Fat Tuesday sounds great. Keep going.

Nice TR. I think it was about my fourth trip to LV and I still hadn%26#39;t seen the moving statues at Ceasars. So made sure we saw it last March when we went. I remember thinking....huh? That%26#39;s it?? But still glad I finally saw it. I think the other times I had been sitting on a bench under the blue sky in the Forum Shoppes and all the while I was at the totally wrong end of the mall waiting for the statues (that didn%26#39;t move) to move so no wonder it took me so long to see them.

It%26#39;s great to see everything at least once.
