Treasure Island

Can anyone tell me about your stay @ Treasure Island?? What to expect or not expect. 1st time to Vegas so I%26#39;m a real interested to know everything and anything. Thanks alot.

Treasure Island

Hi jabo,

Stayed at Treasure Island and had a great time. It has changed a little since then but check-in went smooth, elevators are relatively close to check-in as opposed to toher casino/hotels. Our room was a standard deluxe with a nice bathroom. We ate at the cafe in the hotel and buffet, both were fine but I%26#39;ve had nicer. I really liked the casino as it wasn%26#39;t as big as most and I could easily find the people I was with, without doing alot of walking. We went to the spa and had a great massage and salt scrub. Overall, I would rate it a 6 or 7. I think you will enjoy your stay. Join the Players Club if you are going to gamble there as the comps add up rather fast, it%26#39;s also good at Mirage, MGM, Bellagio and NYNY.

Treasure Island

Hi Jabo

we stayed there in November 06. It was a great time. It%26#39;s a bit up the strip, so it is a good hike to the other hotels, like the Luxor. Don%26#39;t be fooled - everything looks really close, but it is way easier to jump in a cab! I would recommend going to see Ka by Cirque de Solei. You won%26#39;t regret it! Be sure to catch the treasure island show - it%26#39;s every night at 7 and 9 I think. Really cool...

Unless you are pressed for time, or disabled, you can walk up and down the strip no problem. The Deuce bus is slow and miserable, but is a cheap option if your feet wear out...but I would hop a cab if I got tired far from TI.

Distances are long, but though I am fat and 50+, I never have a problem walking a couple miles each way.

For sure, take a cab when going to and from the airport, trust me, do not even think about taking a shuttle if the airport is involved

The hotel is a good size for a first timer to Vegas. Stayed in July %26#39;07, and thoroughly enjoyed the property. Restaurants were all good there. LOVED Kahunaville and their Mango Margaritas. You should enjoy your stay there. Any furter questions, feel free to message me here and I%26#39;ll be more than happy to answer.

The Treasure Island is a very comfortable place to stay and perfect for a first timer. Not toooo big, clean, fantastic beds and if you get a room overlooking the pool you get the best room view in vegas, ask the check in clerk to be on the pool side.

sure there are better places but you can visit them easily while staying in a comfortable room.

We loved TI and stayed there in January.

The beds are the best I have ever slept in..... I even asked where to get one ! Couldnt fit it in my luggage or I would have picked it up and walked out with it :)

It%26#39;s not my favorite place to stay but the room was clean (a little small, especially the bathroom) and the staff was very friendly. It%26#39;s a fairly small property and so it%26#39;s easy to navigate. I%26#39;ve eaten at Isla and Kahunaville and enjoyed both, especially the cocktails. A lot of coupons for 2 for 1 drinks are handed out by the staff so look for those.

If you like shopping at Target or like the commericials, you will like the Hotel.

We liked our stay at TI in a regular room last year and are staying in a petite suite in Nov. I wrote a trip review if you click on my name. but it is very easy to get to your room - no walking through the entire casino as in some hotels. pool is on the small side though. buffet for breakfast is good or there is starbucks, coffee shop or krispy creme for coffee too. Isla - mexican place is suppose to be very good. close to mirage, venetian %26amp; wynn, so I like the location...

oh %26amp; I love shopping at Target - lol as the above poster stated, whatever that means, but I also shop at Coach %26amp; Nordstrom too %26amp; we stayed at bellagio on our last visit %26amp; wasn%26#39;t that impressed...so I really have no idea what the pp means by that...

VHB, what the heck does Target have to do with anything? Stop being such a downer!
