on NYE ??
we only play the $5 BJ tables... just wondering if the limits we higher because of the holiday...
are table limits higher...Minimum bets on NYE will be the highest you%26#39;ll find all year. The chances of finding $5 BJ are very remote.
are table limits higher...Tropicana still boasts they have $5 BJ everyday so you might be able to find it there.
Casino Royale has $3 BJ at sometimes so you might be able to find $5 there.
I would think some of the casinos on Fremont street that have $3 BJ most of the time would have $5.
I still think Tropicana is your best bet.
It depends where you go. It also depends on a number of other things.......what day of the week it is, what time of day it is, how busy the casino is, how the pit boss is feeling that day/night, etc. But as mentioned, if it%26#39;s NYE, you%26#39;re probably going to be out of luck, especially on the Strip. You%26#39;ll be lucky to find a $10 table! But if you go to Downtown, you%26#39;re very likely to find $5 tables.
Most of the tables we went to on NYE just gone were $15 minimum - even at Flamingo, so chances of finding $5 are really really slim.
A couple of casinos advertise $5 BJ all day everyday and have to stand by that advert so will have one BJ table with a $ minimum, you will be able to spot it easily as it will be the table thats 10 deep in people.
In short, if $5 is all you play, I personally (from seeing the tables last year) do not think you%26#39;ll be playing much BJ on NYE... all the properties put their limits up - because they can.
There%26#39;s always $1 Video Blackjack !
It is all a matter of Supply and Demand, basic business rule.
NYE, more demand for tables because more visitors. What do you think casinos will do??
Just a note for yous joiks.
Even if you ';find'; $5 BJ or $3 craps or whatever...
You better hope somebody keels over with a heart attack before you will get a space.
(I was going to say ';you%26#39;re best bet'; but that didn%26#39;t sound right)
I keeed. I keeeed.

Yes. Limits will be higher. They get worse every year.
Probably $15 minimums. And $25 minimums.
Funny they never have any $20 minimums.
Maybe somebody could explain that.
Cause there are no $20 chips?
