ESPN zone for sunday football or where would you go?

We are pretty excited about our trip in a week. We are from Canada and football isn%26#39;t that big there so we would like to experience a true NFL sunday in Vegas. Some people say go to ESPN zone what time should we get there or do you have a better idea we will probably make some bets and like to have some drinks and a few snacks? I would appreciate any help!

Thanks

A HUGE Seahawk fan!!!!!!!!!!!

Where are you staying rimih? All of the major hotels have a sportsbook and they are alot of fun to watch Sunday football. I personally like the sportsbook at Harrah%26#39;s.

thats where i am staying at harrahs

You will love Harrah%26#39;s. Alot of fun and very down to earth people working there. Go to the sportsbook and have fun. Say hi to Tommy.

Saw this on the Review Journal site. Lists the bars that team fans go to and their specials.

Of course it will depend on if you have a car. You can google addresses to see how close to your hotel.

Sports book at the LV Hilton. Cheap beer! :)

Go to Caesars sports book , it is one of the best. Also they have the Pussy Cat blackjack area where you can play blackjack while watching the game.

shrek, that is a terrific link! Thanks for posting it.

Interestingly, the Patriots bar they list as ';Cavalier Lounge'; is the same place I have mentioned a number of times on this forum as GW%26#39;s Place. I guess they changed their name, but the description is right on the money. I can also confirm that Casa Di Amore is a Giants bar, they have a banner hanging over the front entrance which we saw when we went there for dinner.

It should be obvious from reading through the descriptions of these places that you will save money, get free stuff and have a much better time watching the games at any of these places than you would on the Strip.

We like Caesar%26#39;s, Mirage and Paris. ESPN Zone is fine but, there is a $10 per person, per hour minimum food and drink and it is enforced. Wherever you decide, go early. 8:30 am - 9 am for the 10 am games.

ESPN Zone can be great for watching sports if you get one the big leather recliners upfront in front of the huge screen. Did that a few years ago for a University of Virginia football game which my wife and I had bet on and we had a great time. Unfortunately, the people next to us were Virginia Tech fans and they were rooting for UVA to lose, so that made it interesting and somewhat fun. There is a minimum charge per hour for food and drink. It worked great for one game, but it%26#39;s hard to imagine a whole afternoon of that. If you do this, get there early to reserve one of the seats up front. Remember, NFL games begin at 10:00 am in Vegas, so take that into account. I would probably get there by 8 am to reserve a seat, but even that may not be early enough. Perhaps, check the evening before you go to see if you can reserve a seat.
