Luxor or TI (suites)

We are planning a trip to LV from Feb. 24-28 and are looking at staying at either TI or Luxor in a suite of some sort. At the moment, TI is quite a bit more expensive for these dates, to stay in either a petite suite or a tower suite. Luxor has good rates for their larger suites, but we have never stayed in either hotel and just wanted to know if anyone has any experience staying in a suite at Luxor. Any recomendations and advice will be appreciated!

Luxor or TI (suites)

I%26#39;ve not been in a suite at the Luxor, but have been in a petite suite at TI, it was lovely. In my opionion TI is a nicer property and in a much better location that the Luxor is.

We are really looking into the Tower luxury suite or even calling and asking about the Tower premiere suite, has anyone stayed in either one?

Also if you stay in the tower and not in the pyramid can you still go on the inclinator?

I know that Luxor is changing and losing the egyptian theme, does anyone know when all the changes will be complete, since we are going end of february i%26#39;d like it to not all be under construction while we are there.

My wife and I stayed in a pyramid spa suite just 2 weeks ago and the room did seem a little bit run down and real dark with definitely not enough lighting in it. I have never stayed at TI so don%26#39;t know about them. As far as the ';inclinator';, once you could finally get on....after waiting for a long time......you did need your room key to activate your floor selection. I didn%26#39;t think it was much of a big deal myself, just felt a little odd feeling the shifting side to side instead of the normal ';up and down'; feeling.

LOL - It will be interesting to see how a pyramid shaped hotel loses the Egyptian theme!
