vegas during thanksgiving

We have gone to Vegas the first week in December, which is a *quiet* week, but far from dead. This only means that you will be able to get around without to much of a problem. When its busy is Las Vegas it can take an hour to drive down the strip. You will probably be able to do it in 10 - 15 minutes. You are going to have a great time. There is always something going on in Las Vegas. This is one city that does not know the meaning of Dead.

How did you get on?

It won%26#39;t be dead. Thanksgiving is a 4 or 5 day weekend, so there are a large number of Southern Californians who head to Vegas. Some will hit the road on T-Day, after the big dinner; some will have traveled on Wednesday, and will eat T-Day dinner in Vegas.

T-Day in Vegas is OK. the buffets and the restaurants all have special dinners, turkey with all the trimmings.

Was in Vegas last year for TG and have plans to go again this TG.. it was wonderful. Always something to do, extra special TG dinners and everything open 24/7. Weather is a little cool which makes it nice to take a walk down the strip. Actually found it just as crowded as when I used to go in October. The only negatives are that it may be to cold for outdoor pool and some of the headliners are off that week but there are still plenty of shows to choose from. Congrats on your upcoming wedding and enjoy LV!!!!!

Everyone coming for ';Turkey Day'; can meet MusicMan and myself for cocktails to celebrate.

Celebrate what? who cares.....

Be still my heart.

OKOKOK

Just kidding.

Spike,

Being in vegas is a good enough reason for me to celebrate and drink, add to that, meeting an online friend, and I%26#39;ll drink all night :)

ok mortars...your invited too....

we can celebrate a night away from the tracks....lol

For faster cocktail service, I%26#39;ll bring my own cocktail waitress (see the avatar)

I thought she moved to Boston?
