I don%26#39;t mean to sound totally unhip, but I keep hearing it and don%26#39;t know what it means.
What is bottle service?
You are purchasing a whole bottle of liquor. It provides you a reserved table (only way to get a seat in most popular clubs). You will also have waitress service for your bottle, including mixers, and the like. It starts at a couple hundred dollars a bottle.
The appeal is really having the table, it allows you to relax a bit, and if you are trying to attract some ';animal fauna';, it is benefical because you can offer them a seat!
What is bottle service?
Bottle service is the latest trend that has taken over the club scene in sin city. Bottle service allows people full VIP access, which in some of the more popular clubs almost half of the venue is roped off for VIP%26#39;s only. Not only will it give your party the freedom of all- access but it gives you a home base by providing your own VIP table with bottles of alcohol and mixers, along with your own waitress and private security. There is no fighting for $12 drinks at the bar, you can pour cocktails at your leisure, you actually get to sit down, and you can invite over new friends. A table basically allows you to throw your own party within the party.

';a couple hundred dollars a bottle'; ?????
Gasp!
I know it%26#39;s a lot, but compare it to 12-15 a drink at the bar, plus it provides you with VIP service and seating.
It%26#39;s not cheap, but if spending time in a club of that style is important to you, then it can be money well spent.
Personally, I have no interest in that whole scene, but if it%26#39;s what is important to someone then so be it. I am more inclined to spend a really offensive amount of money on a great meal.
when you say mixers, you mean you get all that free? What type of mixers are offered? Some examples if you can.
From what I%26#39;m led to believe you get your choice of up to say 3-4 different mixers included in the cost.
The figure of ';a couple hundred dollars a bottle'; is a little off the mark for the more top end places. You%26#39;re looking at $300-350 and on certain nights there%26#39;ll be a two bottle minimum. There%26#39;s usually a mandatory gratuity of around 20% added to the check,
This has been a really useful post for me.
I%26#39;ve been quoted as starting from $400 dollars for a bottle at Pure, you have to get one bottle every three people. That was the first price I received so I%26#39;d liek to think I could get that down a little.
Which is a bit of a gutter, since I%26#39;m going in a group of 4!!
Mgg,
What clubs offer bottle service at a couple hundred dollars a bottle? Thx

This is not my scene at all, but do a search on the forum about Pure, seems like a week or two ago someone was talking about issues with them, double-booking tables or turning away reservations or something...
